Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO)

NECO is designated as the single source, electronic portal, for the Department of the Navy (DoN) procurement opportunities. NECO processes transactions coming from procurement systems such as the Standard Procurement System (SPS), and has over 32,000 registered vendors. Over eighty Navy procurement sites use NECO to post procurement information, including solicitations, solicitation responses, and awards. NECO has processed over 240,000 solicitations, valued at over $12 billion dollars.

Resale Order Management II (ROM II)

The Navy is implementing ROM II on 180 Ships worldwide which allows Navy ship stores to procure supplies from commercial vendors electronically via satellite. The system provides the electronic pathway for distribution of all procurement-related documents to and from the Navy, its' suppliers and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). Use of ROM II provides expedited receipt of supplies by Navy ship stores and prompt payments to vendors by the DFAS.

Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV)

CAV-EDI is used by Government and Commercial sites to monitor and track the progress of components through the repair process. These components are critical to support the mission of the war fighter. The system provides asset visibility from receipt at the repair facility until the item is repaired and shipped. This system also eliminates dual entry of status transactions by repair facility personnel.

Intra Governmental Transaction Exchange (IGTE)

To implement the E-Government portion of the President's Management Agenda, BBJ developed IGTE for the General Services Administration (GSA) Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE) initiative. IGTE creates a secure business environment that facilitates and supports cost-effective acquisition of goods and services between Federal agencies, while eliminating inefficiencies in the current acquisition environment. The IGTE facilitates reconciliation and streamlines the financial reporting within the government and has processed over $168 million dollars in orders for participating agencies.
